Cannabidiol (CBD)

CBD is the abbreviation for Cannabidiol.  Cannabidiol is one of the many active ingredients found in the Hemp Plant.  In fact, more than 70 chemical compounds, or Cannbinoids, have been discovered.  CBD’s the second most common active ingredient of Hemp Plants.  While you’ll find CBD in both Hemp and Cannabis Plants, CBD does not cause a “high.”

Can you guess what the first and most well known active ingredient may be? Tetrahydrocannabinol, abbreviated as THC.  THC is psychoactive – it’s the active ingredient that gets you “stoned.”

At Deep Creek Hemp, we visit Hemp Breeders, check out Field Trials, and travel throughout the Hemp Growing Season.  We find high quality Hemp Genetics – for trials, testing, and production of Deep Creek Hemp Starter Plants (Clones).
